Description
This course introduces students to foundational principles of human communication across interpersonal, group, and public contexts. Students explore how messages are created, transmitted, interpreted, and influenced by social, cultural, and situational factors. Emphasis is placed on active listening, verbal and nonverbal communication, self-concept, perception, and ethical communication. Students apply concepts through discussion, reflection, and introductory presentations.
