Description

This course provides an in-depth exploration of the American criminal justice system's fundamental principles, institutions, and processes. This foundational course offers students an opportunity to gain a comprehensive understanding of the various components of the criminal justice system, including law enforcement, the courts, and corrections. By examining this field's fundamental concepts, theories, and practices, students will develop a solid foundation for further study in criminal justice and related disciplines. Meets General Education Distribution Area III.C.
