Description
In this class, students interested in pursuing a law degree or a career in a law-related field will learn about the legal system. Students will explore the methods by which law is taught and comprehended, and the various structures, both vocational and systemic, that guide the legal field. Students will work on critical reading, writing, and speaking skills that often distinguish those seeking law-related positions. Special attention will be paid to developing skill sets necessary to succeed in a legal career, including an emphasis on mastering the skills necessary for entrance exams such as the Law School Admissions Test (LSAT). Prerequisite: CRJ 101.
