Description
This course introduces students to the fundamental concepts of cybersecurity, focusing on the principles, technologies, and methodologies used to protect digital information and systems. Topics covered include the basics of computer networks, types of cyber threats and attacks, cryptography, risk management, and the legal and ethical implications of cybersecurity. Upon completion, students should be able to understand and apply basic cybersecurity practices to protect digital assets and mitigate risks. Meets General Education Distribution Area II.C.
