Description
A general education course designed to introduce students to the basics of computer programming using applications. The aim of the course is to demystify computing for students; what a computer is and what a programmer does. Students also learn about contemporary topics in computing such as cryptography and cryptocurrency, artificial intelligence and large Language Models (e.g., chatGPT), social media, or other areas of interest. Prereqs: none. Meets General Education Distribution Area II.C.
