Description
This course offers an in-depth introduction to computer hardware and operating systems, covering the architecture and organization of computer systems, hardware components, operating system functionality, and system software. Topics include CPU architecture, memory hierarchy, input/output mechanisms, file systems, and system security. Students will gain hands-on experience in understanding hardware components and configuring operating systems. Upon completion, students should be able to analyze, troubleshoot, and optimize computer systems and comprehend the role of operating systems in managing hardware and software.
