Description
This course will introduce students to 21st century knowledge, skills, and dispositions (i.e. creativity and innovation, problem solving, communication, collaboration, media literacy, informational literacy, flexibility and adaptability, social and cross-cultural skills) in the context of teaching and learning.
Students will also learn about the importance of research, collaboration, reflection, and leadership in the teaching profession. A field experience in the public schools is required.
