Description
ENG 249 is a broad introduction to the study of English at Brevard College specifically and in the larger realm of the academic field itself. This team-taught course seeks to prepare students to thrive in their study of English, to make informed decisions within the major’s options, to understand various extra- and co-curricular opportunities, and to explore career options for English majors. Students will also complete a roadmap for their personal and professional interests and chart potential opportunities on that path. May be repeated and may be substituted within majors. Prerequisite: Completion of FYE 104/149.
