This course will examine the history of terrorism and terrorist organizations, including the definition, history, methods, and philosophy. Emphasis will be placed on terrorist behavior, types of terrorism, and how government, law enforcement, and emergency management agencies respond to terrorism plots and incidents. Case studies of terrorist incidents and implications for emergency management are highlighted. Online course.
