Description
This course explores the use of computers and the rapidly changing information technology field that affects our lives as new developments are released and adopted. We examine convergent technologies and devices and devlope a working knowledge of computer foundations including personal computer maintenance, troubleshooting, and networking. We engage in disucssing social networks, legal and ethical issues, and conduct research using the internet. The couse culminates in developing a website that incorporates basic html code, photo editing, vector graphics-based animation and multimedia applications. This course meets General Education Distribution Area II.C.
