Description
This LINC course will develop understanding and appreciation for environmental philosophies and ethics related to outdoor pursuits. This course will equip students with skills to evaluate existing and potential impacts of wilderness and outdoor recreation to the environment. It will also develop competency in deliberating minimum impact practices for various outdoor pursuits in diverse ecosystems. Meets General Education Distribution Area VI (pre-2025), Interdisciplinary Thinking and Environmental Awareness (2025+).
