Description
This first course in a two-course sequence presents the basic principles of qualitative and quantitative research methods, including experimental studies, focus groups, interviews, and surveys. It addresses study design, implementation, interpretation, and presentation. Students design original research, and
seek approval through the Institutional Review Board. The assumption is that data will be collected in the subsequent class. Prerequisite: A grade of C- or higher in PSY 101; Psychology major/minor.
