In this class, students will explore the principles and practice of play directing for beginning directors. Class discussion of the collaborative components of the theatre, the director’s approach to the script, the actors, and the theatre space, and laboratory experience in directing scenes form the core experi-
ences of this course. Prerequisites: THE 203 and THE 115.
