Description

This course will be a study of dialects that are commonly employed by American actors. Students will develop dialects using the IPA (International Phonetic Alphabet) labeling specific sound substitutions, shifts based on resonance, use of articulators, and musicality. Prerequisite: THE 225 or MUS 215 or MUS 216.
