Description

Through study of crime victims and their roles within the criminal justice system, the course will focus on physical, psychological, and financial impacts victimization has on individuals and society. Students will learn about the history, theories, research, legislation, and policy implications related
to the social construction of a crime victim. Services and solutions for victims of crime will also be discussed. Prerequisite: CRJ 101.
