Description

This course provides students with an understanding of the forms, functions, methods, and roles of assessment in planning and implementing effective early childhood learning environments. Students will engage in observation and assessment processes through required field experiences in traditional
early childhood classrooms and nature-based community sites. They will learn about assessment strategies necessary for diverse learners and those with disabilities. Prerequisite: ECE 312.
