Description

What does it mean to be a writer? In this course, students learn about the forms, aesthetics, theories, and histories behind creative writing as a practice, including genre, craft, and the workshop. Students read and talk with diverse writers who work in various genres to discover their own writing influences,
practices, and aesthetics. The course culminates in a research-informed creative-critical project and writer’s statement featured in a digital portfolio. Meets General Education Distribution Area IV.A or IV.B.
