Description

This course will explore the political, social, economic and environmental aspects of the environmental through studying major environmental laws and policies including NEPA, RCRA, CERCLA, and TSCA. Environmental agencies reviewed include DOE, EPA, NIOSH, USFS, and USGS, among
others. Although concentrated on the United States, the course presents a brief introduction to the international aspects of environmental law. Prerequisite: ENV 101 or permission of the instructor.
