Description

This introductory course focuses on the social, political, and economic development of Europe since 1648. Topics covered include, among others, the development of enlightened rationalism, democracy, capitalism, nationalism, imperialism, socialism and communism, fascism, the World Wars, the Cold
War, and European integration. Meets General Education Distribution Area III.A.
