Description
This course will cover current theories and principles of teaching health education. Emphasis is on application in teaching settings for grades K-12 and first semester college freshmen. It will follow the major goals set by the NC Department of Public Instruction in Health. The course will include observation and practical experience as well as an extensive research project. The results of this project will be presented to EXS students and faculty. Prerequisites: Junior standing. Meets General Education Distribution Area V (pre-2025).
