Description
As the preparatory course for the senior capstone (MAT 450), this course hones the core competencies required for advanced mathematical study. Students will focus on developing clear and effective mathematical writing, rigorous research methods, and sophisticated problem-solving strategies. The
curriculum also guides students through the investigation of career opportunities, culminating in the formal selection of a capstone topic and faculty advisor. Meets General Education Category Mathematical Thinking.
