Description
This course will address the administration, management, and teaching of high school marching band as part of an overall instrumental music program. Students will be exposed to the many aspects of a marching band program, including show design, drill writing, color guard/auxiliary units, percussion
issues, rehearsal planning, and teaching techniques for marching and playing. Required for instrumental music education majors; open to all Music majors. Offered every other fall semester.
