Description
This course is an overview and introduction to the history, foundations, theory, and current practices of outdoor leadership. The curriculum focuses on leadership development, decision-making, risk management, and facilitating meaningful recreational, educational, and personal development experiences through outdoor activities. Students develop understanding and skills for teaching outdoor education. One weekend day trip required.
