Description

This course is designed for those interested in instructing and guiding paddling skills in whitewater canoeing and kayaking and is aligned with the American Canoe Association curricula. Topics include specific technical skill development, instructional strategies, equipment management, river site and
group management, and swiftwater rescue skills. Students will have the opportunity to gain multiple professional level certifications upon completion of this course. Two weekend day trips are required. Prerequisite: OLE 350 or Instructor approval.
