Description
This course will focus on the theory and application of conflict management strategies that are necessary for leaders to navigate conflict within organizations. Students will gain an understanding of their natural tendency toward conflict, along with its strengths and weaknesses. Students will
be challenged to grow and evolve in their understanding of conflict and how to effectively manage it in both professional and personal contexts. Using real-life case studies, students will explore the theories, practices, and issues involved in managing conflict in interpersonal and intergroup settings.
Prerequisite: ORG 203.
