Description

This second course in a two-course sequence focuses on descriptive and inferential statistics in psychology. It addresses measures of central tendency and variability, data visualization and interpretation, and hypothesis testing. Students collect, enter, and analyze data for the replication study begun in PSY 310, produce an APA-style manuscript, and give an oral presentation in the form of an academic poster to showcase their findings. Prerequisites: PSY 310, Psychology Major. Meets General Education Categories II.C (pre-2025); Intensive Writing and Presentational Speaking (2025+).
